Right kick off

Wednesday, February 24, 2010

I was encouraged by last night's 100m kick. I believe it would get better. I practiced my kicking. I did 6x50m. Amazing. I couldn't even do 50m in the past. Practice makes perfect. It's true.

Uncle Sng told me my kicking was good. He said I would swim faster if I kick more. I figured it could be the reason I'm swimming slowly. I don't kick much and yet my arms are not strong enough to pull. That pulls down my swim.

Kick off nicely is a good start. In swimming, we need to kick off well so our feet won't cramp up. I guess it applies to life too. A good kick off lasts a good swim. A good conversation lasts a long friendship.

Swim: 10x50m moderate swim and 6x50m kick
Run: 6km
